We are seeking a strategic, energetic, and ecosystem-savvy VP of Marketing & Community to lead our brand, community, and communications efforts. You’ll architect our presence, grow our community, and amplify our voice across platforms and partnerships in front of founders, co-investors, LPs, and the broader B2B SaaS landscape.

Years of experience: 8-12 years 

What You’ll Do:

1 . Community Building & Ecosystem Engagement (Primary Focus)

  • Build and grow a high-value community of founders, GTM leaders, SaaS experts, and ecosystem partners.
  • Design and execute events such as founder meetups, masterclasses, webinars, roundtables, and our annual flagship gathering.
  • Identify and drive strategic collaborations with accelerators, media, and ecosystem enablers.
  • Represent Pentathlon at key industry events and forums to expand visibility and network influence.

2. Brand Marketing & Content Strategy

  • Manage all brand and communication initiatives—working closely with agencies, freelancers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of strategic content assets like founder stories, newsletters, and deal announcements by tapping into external creators and domain experts.
  • Ensure all touchpoints reinforce Pentathlon’s voice, values, and thought leadership.

3. Investor Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support engagement with LPs and institutional partners through newsletters, updates, and curated content.
  • Coordinate LP-focused events, briefings, and webinars in collaboration with investment and finance teams.
  • Align all communication with brand tone, strategic goals, and regulatory standards.

Who You Are:

  • 8–12 years’ experience in B2B marketing, community/equity engagement, or ecosystem leadership
  • Track record in building founder- or leadership-facing programs, running high-value events
  • Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills; strong project management
  • Exposure to VC, startups, B2B SaaS (India/global) a big plus
  • Confident working with agencies/collaborators (not micromanaging, but keeping high standards)
  • Visionary ecosystem builder: you know that real influence happens through trust, high-value events, and curated content.
  • Storyteller and strategist: can make the complex simple, and inspire action from boardroom to stage to LinkedIn.
  • Relationship-first: senior operator who blends presence with empathy, able to influence across founders, investors, and thought leaders.
