As 2026 gets underway, this edition captures our latest investments, new portfolio milestones, and a sharp take on where AI is headed for B2B tech.

And before your next meeting, take a minute to read what our Managing Partner, Gireendra Kasmalkar, has to say on where AI is taking B2B software.
Topical Take
The brewing AI storm and what it means

Anthropic’s new Cowork tool is an AI coworker that plugs into business systems and can run multi step work across sales, finance, legal, and support, not just answer simple prompts. Its launch, and the speed at which it can spin up specialised plugins, has sparked real questions about products that only sit on the surface of these workflows.
Our view is clear. The need for use case first, domain first products does not go away, but the bar is higher now. Teams that last will know their vertical inside out, treat tools like Cowork as infrastructure, and focus on owning critical workflows and outcomes instead of just shipping more features.
New Investment
Welcoming SuperProcure to the portfolio
What is SuperProcure?
SuperProcure recently raised ₹14 crore (~1.6M USD) in fresh funding led by Pentathlon Ventures, to deepen AI in its execution stack and scale within large enterprises. It is an enterprise TMS for large logistics operations. It sits at the centre of transport execution, handling planning, coordination with transporters, exceptions, compliance, and settlement across plants and lanes.

Why we invested
Most TMS platforms look good in demos but break in real operations, so teams fall back to manual workarounds. SuperProcure is built for that reality, with enforceable workflows, strong expansion inside large customers, careful use of capital, and a founding team with deep logistics experience.

Team Update
Welcoming Vaniya Dangwal, our new VP of Marketing

We are pleased to welcome Vaniya as Head of Marketing at Pentathlon. In line with our operator-led DNA, she brings experience across banking, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem building, and has been working closely with early stage founders in the Indian startup landscape since 2019.
Over the past several years, she has helped founders with fundraising, positioning, partnerships, and community, so she sees marketing as core to building companies. At Pentathlon, she will lead brand, communications, and ecosystem efforts with a focus on stronger portfolio visibility, better network access for founders, and clear long term signal for the fund.
